Waldron, Ivan Herlin

Ivan Herlin Waldron, 65, of Narrows, departed this life Tuesday evening April 11, 2006 at Giles Memorial Hospital in Pearisburg.

Born at Bent Mountain in Roanoke County on April 21, 1940 he was a son of Goode and Marie Franklin Waldron of Pembroke. He was retired from the City of Blacksburg Public Works Dept. and was preceded in death by his wife June Sanders Waldron.

He is survived by his parents; his son and daughter-in-law Gregory Scott and Diane M. Waldron of Arlington, Texas; a grandchild Natalie Waldron of Arlington, TX; three brothers Wayne Waldron of Narrows, Randy Waldron of Pembroke, ?Chip? Jeffrey Waldron of Blacksburg; four sisters Sharon W. Meador of Pembroke, Brenda W. Kasperski of Pearisburg, Dottie W. Meredith of Pembroke, Terri Waldron of Newport.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 11:00 AM in the Kendall Funeral Home at 605 Snidow St. in Pembroke with Pastor Shahn Wilburn officiating. Burial will follow in Birchlawn Burial Park in Pearisburg. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday evening from 6 to 8 PM.
