Wade, Damon Elden

In loving memory and honor we celebrate the life of Damon Elden Wade, 53, of Christiansburg, who went to be with his Savior, Jesus Christ on Tuesday, July 8, 2008.

Damon was the beloved son of Bernard and Elsie Wade, of Princeton, W.Va. He is survived by daughters, Karen, Caitlin and Kelsie Wade; brothers, Darrell Wade and wife, Joyce, of Princeton, W.Va., Bill Wade and wife, Diane, of Damascus, Va.; and stepmother Rosalie Puckett Wade, of Princeton, W.Va. He is also survived by his loving fiance, Karen Link, of Newport; and many other friends and relatives.

He was a loving and devoted father to his three daughters and a faithful servant of Open Door Baptist Church. His smile and awesome sense of humor will be greatly missed by all who knew him. The most important date in his life was the day he accepted Christ as his Savior on April 22, 1980.

The family will receive friends from 5 until 8 p.m. Saturday, July 12, 2008, at the Horne Funeral Home, Christiansburg. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, July 13, 2008, at the Open Door Baptist Church 3995 Roanoke St., S.E., Christiansburg, Va., conducted by Pastor Mike Johnston with interment to follow in Sunset Cemetery.
