Vires, Michael Wayne

Michael Wayne Vires, 49, of Radford, passed away on Friday, June 10, 2011. He was a graduate of Radford University. He was preceded in death by his father, Eddie Wayne Vires.

Survivors include his mother, Edith Altizer Vires, of Radford; sisters and brothers-in-law, Melinda and Eddie Azbell, of Floyd, and Kathy and Delane Carico, of Fancy Gap; brother, Eddie Vires, of Radford; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial Services will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, June 26, 2011, at the Central United Methodist Church, 803 Wadsworth Street, Radford.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to The American Diabetes Association , 4335 Cox Road, Glen Allen, VA 23060.
