Vires, Eddie Dewayne

Eddie Dewayne Vires, 48, of Radford, passed away on Wednesday, November 14, 2012. He was preceded in death by his father, Eddie Wayne Vires; and his brother, Michael Wayne Vires.

Survivors include his mother, Edith Altizer Vires, of Radford; son, Travis Vires; daughters, Carrie and Audrey Vires; sisters, Melinda and Eddie Azbell, of Floyd, and Kathy and Delane Carico, of Fancy Gap; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friend, Amber Powers.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, November 18, 2012, at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford with Pastor Don Shelor officiating. The family will receive friends beginning at 1 p.m. prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the American Heart Association , P.O. Box 5216, Glen Allen VA 23058-5216.
