Vinson, Teresa Daniels

Teresa Ruth Vinson, 60, of Christiansburg passed away October 21, 2020. Teresa’s family and her dogs were second and third behind God. She had a special love for all three. She was a Nonnie, a Mom, and a dog Mom as well as a loving wife. She left unexpectedly and way too early. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Maize & Woodrow Cole and paternal grandparents, Tommy & Katherine Daniels. She is survived by her husband, Jerry Vinson; son, Wayne Daniels and wife, Vicki; daughter, Jessica Vinson; granddaughters, Alanah Barnes, Ariyah Artis, Alexa Daniels, Georgia Daniels, and Bella Daniels; parents, Hersel & Virginia Daniels; brother Rick Daniels and wife, Liz; sister, Tammy Daniels; nephews, Zachary, Cole, and Nicholas Daniels; her four legged buddies, Skyler Blue and Onyx.

The family would like to thank the compassion and professionalism displayed by the Christiansburg Police Department, Christiansburg Rescue Squad, the person from Blacksburg Rescue that assisted Christiansburg the night Teresa passed, and the many friends and family who have shown us so much support during the difficult time. Your kind words, virtual hugs, phone calls and love mean more than you could imagine.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 24th from 12 to 1 p.m. Funeral services will follow at 1 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Matthew Kidd officiating. There will be a private graveside held at Sunset Cemetery.
