Marlene Joy Vest, 63, of Floyd, passed away on Friday, January 27, 2012. Survivors include her husband, Robert L. Vest Sr.; sons, Arva L. Brewer Jr., Shawn A. Brewer, Scott C. Brewer and wife, Rita J. Brewer; stepson, Bobby Vest and wife, Jackie D. Vest; and grandchildren, Taryn H. Brewer, Jaden N. Brewer, Jaxon L. Brewer, Rosln L. Brewer, Kira J. Brewer, Jenna C. Brewer, Benjamin A. Vest, and Taylor G. Yaunsem. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, February 4, 2012 at the Floyd United Methodist Church with the Rev. Rhonda Hobbs officiating.
