Vaught, Paul Linwood

Paul Linwood,Vaught age 42, of Pilot died, Saturday, December 29, 2012, from injuries received in an automobile accident. Paul was born in Roanoke, VA. on June 6, 1970. He is preceded in death by a sister Rebecca Tolbert. Paul was a very devoted father and son who loved farming, hunting and fishing. He loved children and his family very much. He is survived by his parents, Larry S. and Debbie A. Vaught, of Pilot, and Byron Elkanah Fuqua, of Keithville, LA., son, Byron Linwood Vaught, of Pilot, son by heart, Adam Christopher Morrison, of Christiansburg, brothers and sister-in-law, W. Larry Vaught, Pilot, Coy Elkanah and Leann Fuqua, of Shreveport, LA., sister and brother-in-law, Racheal and Will Edwards, of Greenwood, LA., special grandmother, Hazel Altis, Christiansburg, two very special nephews, Dylan Vaught and Tyler Vaught, both of Pilot, and Tyler’s girlfriend, Katelyn Vaughn, numerous Aunts and Uncles and Cousins. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, January 4, 2013 at 11:00 am in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. George Bulson and Norris Lewis officiating. Interment will follow in the Vaught Family Cemetery, Pilot, VA. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 pm Thursday evening at the McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Drive, SW, Blacksburg. Memorial contributions may be made to the Floyd Co. Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 257, Floyd, VA. 24091 where his son, Byron volunteers and the Riner Rescue Squad, 4309 Riner Rd., Riner, VA. 24149 who were so kind, caring and attentive at the scene. The family would like to thank Officer Martin, the Riner Rescue Squad, dispatchers and McCoy Funeral Home for all the care shown and given during this time. Also our special family and friends who have been so kind and loving and for all the prayers for our family. Most of all we want to thank God for the time he allowed us to have Paul.
