Vaught, Homer Thomas

Homer Thomas Vaught, age 83, of Christiansburg died, Thursday, August 16, 2018. He was born in Montgomery County, VA on December 7, 1934 to the late Clayton Thomas and Erma Kessinger Vaught. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Margaret Hylton, Virgie Odham; one brother, John Vaught.

He is survived by his wife, Maxine; sons and daughters-in-law, Gary and Linda Vaught, Barry Vaught, Timmy and Rita Vaught, Donnie Vaught; daughters and son-in-law, Sherry Mabry and companion, George Stewart, Cindy and John Thornton; 13 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; sisters, Ethel Dillon, Bernice Elam.

Graveside services will be conducted Monday, August 20, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the Harless Cemetery with the Rev. Jimmy Lee Price officiating. The family will receive friends from 3-5 p.m. Sunday evening at McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Dr SW, Blacksburg, VA.
