Vaught, Dreama Evans

Dreama Ann Evans Vaught, 76 of Ripplemead, VA departed this life to enter into her Heavenly Home January 30, 2021 in the care of Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Born in Giles County, Virginia on July 26, 1944, she was a daughter of the late Howard and Ola Meredith Evans.

Dreama was retired from Celanese after 30 years of service. She is known for her ability to show love through cooking. Dreama enjoyed spending her life playing softball, traveling to the Amish Communities of Ohio, and watching the Virginia Tech Hokies play football. She practiced her faith in faithful attendance at Pearisburg Christ Fellowship.

Dreama is preceded in death by her parents; and her siblings, Carol Martin, Howard “Buddy” Evans Jr, Jackie Evans, Gerald Evans, and Thomas Evans.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Maury “Syl” Vaught; her daughter, Lisa Evans Harris of the Little Creek community; and grandchildren, Ola and Farrah Rector.

There will be a Funeral Service to celebrate the life of Dreama, Monday, February 8, 2021 at 2:00 PM in the Kendall Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Phil Vickers officiating. The funeral service will be completed at Birchlawn Burial Park. Family will receive friends at the Kendall Funeral Home Chapel from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM. We will be following all Covid-19 guidelines set forth by the Commonwealth of Virginia and the CDC.
