Van Sise, Ashton Tyler

Ashton Tyler Van Sise, 9, of Dublin, died Friday morning May 4, 2007 as a result of an automobile accident.

He was born March 30, 1998 in Knoxville, Tenn., and is the son of Lisa Caroline Van Sise-Seiple, and Stephen Garrison Patterson, Jr. Ashton was a third grade student at Dublin Elementary School in Mrs. Sexton’s Class.

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Subon Nangarm Patterson. In addition to his parents, he is survived by a brother and best friend, Tristen Layne Van Sise of the home; maternal grandparents, Ronald Lee and Caroline Summer Van Sise of Southport, N.C.;: paternal grandparents, Stephen Garrison Patterson, Sr. and his wife Kay Wilson Patterson of Pulaski; a stepfather, Josh Seiple of Dublin; two uncles, Mitch Patterson of Dublin, and Lee Van Sise of Roanoke; one aunt, Stacy Van Sise and her friend Brett Wright of Oak Island, N.C.; Ashton’s father’s fiance, Christine Wampler of Charlotte, N.C.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday May 8, 2007 11 a.m. at the Fairlawn Church of God with the Rev. Jim Angle and the Rev. Marcus Harrison officiating. Entombment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin. Visiting will be Monday anytime after 3 p.m. at Thomas M. Seagle & Sons where the family will receive friends from 3 until 4 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m.
