Van Patten, Frank C.

Frank C. Van Patten, age 78 of Pulaski passed away Sunday, August 20, 2017 at the Lewis-Gale Hospital, Pulaski. Born October 3, 1938 in Springville, Utah he was the son of the late Carlisle Van Patten & Clarice Snow Van Patten. His sister, Shirley Snow and grandson, Braxton Hatch also preceded him in death. He was a veteran of the United States Army, serving in Korea, an active member and PER (Provo Elks Lodge) – Provo, Utah. He was also a member of the Local #3 Operating Engineers Union.

He is survived by his

Wife of 57 years – Teresa (Teri) Van Patten – Pulaski,

Daughter – Susan Van Patten – Hiwassee,

Sons – Brian & Virginia Van Patten – Springville, UT, Chad Van Patten – Pulaski, Carl Van Patten – Provo, UT,

Grandson – Spencer Van Patten,

Sisters – Pauline Carter – Pleasant Grove, UT, Edith Bowcutt – Riverton, UT, June Hinckley – Provo, UT,

Memorial services will be held 5:00 PM – Sunday, August 27, 2017 at the Provo Elks Lodge – Provo, Utah where all are welcome.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations in his memory be made to the Wounded Warriors Program @ https://support.woundedwarriorproject.org

An inurnment will be held at the Southwest Virginia Veteran’s Cemetery, Dublin at a later date.
