Vaden, Rador William
Rador William Vaden, age 80, of Blacksburg entered into his eternal home in the early morning hours of January 31, 2017 completing his journey here.
He is preceded in death by parents, Leonard and Minnie Vaden, mother and father in-Law, Ira and Oretha Smith, four brothers Marshall, Marvin, Lewis, and Alfred, and one sister Annabelle.
Left to cherish his memory are wife Jan Vaden, daughter Debbie (Phillip) Hassell, son Dan (Robyn) Vaden and Greg (Melissa) Vaden, five grandchildren – Dustin Hassell, Danielle Lockwood, Molly Hassell, Taylor Vaden and Emily Vaden, sisters Edna, Fay, Gay and Barbara Ann, brothers Clarence, Randolph, and Lonnie, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at McCoy Funeral Home on Friday, February 3 from 5-8:00 pm. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 4, at 2 pm, in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel. Burial to follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who provided care and support to Rador during his final months including Drs. Harry McCoy, Daniel Osimani, Keith Madsen, and Good Samaritan Hospice NRV.
