Uzmack, William Arthur

William Arthur Uzmack, 70, of Longview Circle, Narrows, VA, departed this life Wednesday morning, March 28, 2018 at his home. Born in Springdale, PA on September 9, 1947 he was a son of the late William and Maxine Jewart Uzmack.

He was proud to have served in the US Army as a Medi-vac Helicopter Pilot (two terms in Viet Nam), and was busy after his military career as a successful entrepreneur in several businesses.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his step-grandchild Quintin Peery, and his brothers Rick, Jim, and Don Uzmack. William was known to be a loving family man to his children and grandchildren and a devoted husband to his wife of 33 years, and always thinking of others before himself.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Frieda Dugdale Uzmack; his sons Gary Paul Uzmack of Delaware and Andrew Michael Uzmack of Narows; his daughters Sheryl Borzellierer of FL, Elise Uzmack of Myrtle Beach, SC, and Jenny Grippe of Narrows; his sisters Nancy Drexler of Pittsburg, PA and Judy Healy of Pittsburgh, PA; his brothers Robert and Dale Uzmack both of Pittsburgh, PA, his step-children Thad Bainbridge of Ogden, Utah and Ketti Peery of Lakewood, CL; his six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; his two great-grandchildren and one step-grreat-grandchild.
