Underwood, William Ward

William Ward Underwood, 37, of Elliston, passed away on Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at his home. Ward graduated from Franklin County High School where he played basketball. He was currently employed with Comcast. He loved sports especially coaching his daughter’s basketball teams.

Ward is survived by his loving companion, Cindy Shelor; daughters, Morgan Marie Underwood, Glade Hill, Marleigh Madison Underwood, Elliston; his mother, Dwan Fulcher and stepfather, Gary Fulcher, Glade Hill; his father, Tim Underwood Sr. and Judy Williams, Elliston; brothers, Tim Underwood Jr. and daughter, Kayla, Salem, Josh Underwood and wife, Shannon Underwood; daughters, Reagan and Aylin Underwood, Richmond. He is also survived by many relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends Friday, September 25, 2015 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Lotz Funeral Home Salem. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 26, 2015 at Lotz Salem Chapel.
