Twine Jr., Charles “Nicky”
The Reverend Charles Edward Twine Jr. “Nicky”, 56, of Dublin, VA passed away on Friday November 10, 2017. He was born to the late Deacon Charles and Clara Mae Twine. He is survived by his wife Melissa; sons, Justin (Jasmine) and Austin Twine; grandson, Gavin Twine; sisters, The Reverend Glendora (Eddie) Dalton, The Reverend Vivian (Berkley) Simmons and Pretrena (Larry) Hairston; brothers, Donnie (Julia) Twine and The Reverend Rolando (Rhonda) Twine; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Also, the congregation of Montvale First Baptist Church.
A Celebration of Life Worship Service will be noon Thursday, November 16, 2017, at First Baptist Church, 555 West Rock Road, Radford, VA 24141, with The Reverend Gary Alexander officiating. Interment will be in Sunrise Burial Park, Fairlawn, VA. Friends may call on viewing on Wednesday, November 15, 2017, from noon until 4 p.m. at Hamlar-Curtis Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. at First Baptist Church. The family welcomes flowers or contributions to the American Cancer Society. Nicky will be missed. There will be a void in everyone’s life but we can rest easy that we will meet again. My prayers are with the family.

I grew up with Nicky ,spending my summers in Elliston. Some people you know will lead their lives being an influence and helping others. That was Nicky. May God bless the family with understanding that good men are needed in Heaven too.
