Turpin, Ruth Andrews

Ruth Andrews Turpin, 85, of Radford, passed away Wednesday, April 18, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. Thornton H. Turpin. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, David and Pamela Turpin, of Elizabethton, Tenn.; sister-in-law, Goldie Turpin, of Radford; grandchildren, Ashley Lafon and her husband, Greg, of Elizabethton, Tenn. and Lora M. Turpin, of Kansas City, Mo.; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Friday, April 20, 2012, at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford, with the Rev. Jim Walker and the Rev. Wayne Poston officiating. Interment will follow in the West View Cemetery in Radford. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the time of the service.
