Turpin, Kathryn French

Kathryn Darlene French Turpin, 59 of Jefferson City, TN departed this life November 22, 2020 at Jefferson Memorial Hospital. Born December 28, 1960, she was a daughter of Michael French and the late Helen Epling French.

She was a member of Bethel Chapel in Clendennin, VA.

She is preceded in death by her mother. Left to cherish her memory to their hearts are her father, Mike French; step-mother, Mary Reed French; husband, Donald Turpin, a son, Zachary Matthew Harvey of Maxwelton, WV (Emma); daughters, Stephanie Darnell (Larry) of Peterstown, and Natasha Steele (Shane) of Newport; step-children, Heather Smith (Matt), Corey Turpin, and Ryan Turpin; brothers, Mike French Jr (Erin) of Louisiana, and Greg French (Denise) of Tazewell, VA; sisters, Theresa French (Randy Williams) of Pembroke, and Kristina French of Pearisburg, VA; grandchildren, Haleigh Darnell, Logan Darnell, Adaline Darnell, Emery Darnell, Caden Painter, Braxton Painter, Kyndall Painter, Isabella Steele, Wyatt Smith, Maverick Smith, and Olivia Smith; and special friends, Darlene Pollard, and Rosie Conley.

Strictly following the current government regulations, and to honor Kathryn’s memory there is a public visitation planned for Friday, November 27, 2020 at Kendall Funeral Home in Pembroke, VA, from 12:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. where masks are required and a limited occupancy of 25 persons at a time. A private family service will follow at the Kendall Funeral Home Chapel in Pembroke with Zachary Matthew Harvey officiating. There will be a public graveside service held at 3:00 PM at Sunset Cemetery in Rich Creek, VA on Friday, November 27, 2020.
