Turpin, Darlene Patricia Eskew

Darlene Patricia Eskew Turpin, 51, of Christiansburg, Va., passed away on Thursday, February 24, 2011, at the Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Born on April 9, 1959, in Alexandria, Va., she was the daughter of the late Jewel William Eskew and Cora Alice Graham Eskew.

She is survived by her husband, Jimmy Leon Turpin, of Christiansburg, Va.; stepdaughter, Tina Dawn Bradshaw, of Ironto, Va.; three stepgrandchildren, Anthony, Harley and Dakota; and brothers, Bill Eskew, of Rice, Va., Paul Eskew, Haymarket, Va., and John Eskew, of Columbia, Md.

Funeral Services will be held 2 p.m. on Sunday, February 27, 2011, at the Bower Funeral Home Chapel, Pulaski with the Rev. Danny McGlothlin officiating. Interment will follow at the Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until the service on Sunday.
