Turner, Joseph Louis

Joseph Louis Turner, born, August 27, 1937, age 84, departed this life on November 6, 2021 surrounded by his family. Joe retired from N & W Railroad, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and family.

Joe was one of seven children born to the late Earl and Reva (Simmons) Turner of Elliston, VA. Those who preceded him in Gods calling. Houston Turner (brother), George Turner (brother), Alice McClain (sister) and Dorothy Robinson (sister).

Those left to cherish the joy of being his family and thanking God for all the blessing are his loving and devoted wife of 54 years Barbara McMillan Turner. Joe L. Turner Jr. (son), Romunda and Luis Santos (daughter and son in law), Donald Turner (brother), Emma Stallings (sister), Lamar Turner (grandson), Olivia Turner (granddaughter), Lamiah Turner (great-grand daughter). A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
