Turman, Walter Junior

Walter J. Turman, 88, of Riner, passed away on Wednesday, July 27, 2022. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Annie Turman; son, Donnie Turman; brothers, Billy and Johnny Turman; and sister, Nancy Rader.

He is survived by his son, Kenneth Turman (Tammy Sheppard); grandchildren, Josh Graham, Jacob Turman, Kendra Turman and Justin Turman; great grandchildren, Preston, Maddie, Hunter and Caleb; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Martha and Billy Altizer; and numerous special nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 30, 2022 in the Maberry Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Ted Farmer officiating. Interment will follow in the Willis Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
