Tuckwell, Thelma Burton
Thelma Frances Burton Tuckwell, 76 of Narrows, VA went to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 5, 2020. Thelma was born on July 28, 1944 in Penvir (Narrows), VA and was a daughter of the late Junior L. Burton and Lois Carr Burton. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Troy Allen Stafford and one sister, Nanette Burton.
Thelma enjoyed driving a tractor trailer cross country, seeing a lot of the United States. She also was a retired school bus driver for the Giles County School System. She loved planting her flowers around her house and loved the company of her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by one son, Dale Eugene Stafford of Narrows, two grandchildren, Elijah Stafford of Peterstown, WV, Heath Stafford (Carolyn) of Pearisburg, two great grandchildren, McKenzie Stafford and John Stafford and one brother, Jonathan Burton of Colorado Springs, CO.
Graveside services will be conducted Friday, December 11, 2020 at 1:00pm at the Cedar – Grove Cemetery in Narrows with Rev. Dr. Thomas A. Conley officiating. We will be observing COVID-19 restrictions, please wear a mask and observe social distancing.

Thelma was my friend for 25 years and a true friend she was! You will be sadly missed and all our phone calls. Love and will miss you! May God Bless you and your loved ones left to cherish your memories.
