Sunrise June 17, 1949 to Sunset June 22, 2007. Philip Trussell, 58, went to be with the Lord Friday, June 22, 2007 at his residence Blacksburg, Virginia.

He was preceded in Death by Parents Thomas and Ida Trussell, Brothers Thomas (Carolyn), Donald, Robert (Brenda) and Sister Patricia (William) King.

Those left to cherish his memory are his three sons, Kevin Trussell of Bowie Maryland, Kurt (Stephanie) Trussell, of Tampa, Fla., Devin (Kacey) Trussell Port Hueneme, Calif.; and four grandchildren; two brothers, James (Ann) Trussell of Columbus Ga., John (Barbara) Trusssell of Mitchellville, Md.; four sisters, Janet (James) Pierson of Roanoke Va., Nancy Cook of Texas, Anna (Charles) Perry Tampa, Fla., and Julia (Thomas deceased) Pierson of Roanoke, Va.; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Memorial services will be conducted Monday, June 25, 2007 at 11 a.m. in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel, 150 Country Club Drive S.W., Blacksburg.
