Trimble, Ola “Fay”

Ola “Fay” Trimble, of Blacksburg, died Sunday, October 10, 2010. She was born on March 21, 1933, in Dickenson County, Va., the daughter of the late Garland Alexander Stanley and Mattie Cardella Stanley. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Gilmer Stanley, and three sisters, Evelyn Stanley Hughes, Odra Stanley Lovern, and Oscillee Stanley Pruitt. Fay was employed with Radford Brothers Grocery in Blacksburg, VA for several years. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, James Montgomery Trimble, who she married on August 22, 1951 in Montgomery County; where he retired with 37 years of service on May 1, 1987 at Hercules, Inc.; sons, Larry Neil Trimble, Stanley James Trimble, Gary Dean Trimble, and Jeffrey Pierre Trimble; and a granddaughter, Kelsey Morag Patricia Trimble. Memorial services will be held Saturday, October 30, 2010 at 4:00 pm in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor John Wertz officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00-4:00 pm prior to the service at McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Dr., Blacksburg.
