Trimble, Larry Neil

Larry Neil Trimble, age 61, of Blacksburg died, Saturday, July 5, 2014, at Lewis Gale Hospital-Montgomery. He was born on November 1, 1952 to the late James Montgomery and Fay Stanley Trimble. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Stanley James Trimble, and a sister-in-law, Patricia (Trish) Trimble.

Larry was an accomplished athlete having played football and basketball for the Blacksburg Indians. Larry enjoyed fishing, hunting, and playing golf. He was an outstanding carpenter. He is survived by his brothers, Gary Dean Trimble, Jeffrey Pierre Trimble, niece, Kelsey Morag Patricia Trimble. Memorial services will be conducted Saturday, July 19, 2014 at 3:00 pm in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with the Pastor John Wertz officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00 pm Saturday July 19, 2014 prior to the service. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
