amem_autumn.jpgAnnie Kidd (Kitty) Trice, 82, of Blacksburg, died Saturday, September 9, 2006 at her home. She was born in Lovingston, Va. on July 7, 1924 to the late Estes Caskie and Caroline Frances Wood Kidd. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Richard Holmes Trice; and a son, Richard Estes Trice.

She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Ann Trice and John W. Mumaw of Riner, Penny Trice and Joe A. Ellicott of Richmond, Jeannie Holmes and Russ S. Lytton, of Charlotte, N.C.; grandchildren, Whitney M. Frazier, James Frazier, Aaron P. Mumaw, Sarah M. Mumaw, William K. Mumaw, Jessie Trice Burch, and Virginia Corrine Lytton; sister, Fannie Byrd Thornhill; sisters-in-law, Katherine Trice, and Nancy Trice Coles; brother-in-law, Patrick Trice; niece, Kim Spencer; and nephew, Chip Thornhill.

Memorial services will be conducted Wednesday, September 13, 2006 at 2 p.m. in the Blacksburg Presbyterian Church, corner of Church and Eakin Streets with the Rev. Alex Evans officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Carilion Hospice Service of NRV, 707 Randolph St. Suite 251, Radford, Va. 24141 or the Blacksburg Presbyterian Church, P.O.
