Trail, Margaret Lucille Sirt

Margaret Lucille Sirt Trail, age 82 of Pulaski, died Tuesday May 1, 2012 at her residence. She was born on April 4, 1930 in Pulaski, to the late Callie Belle Shoemaker Sirt and James Elbert Sirt. Margaret was retired as a long-time employee of the Hensel Eckman Y.M.C.A., where she worked as the dietitian for their child-care program. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Pryow Harris “Harry” Trail; a son, Donald W. Trail; and a brother, Fred Sirt. She is survived by a son, Randy D. Trail of Pulaski; a daughter, Teresa A. Trail of Pulaski; a brother, George Sirt of Miami, FL; and a sister, Jean Arnold and her husband, Charles, of Rocky Mount, NC. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Heather Trail, Donald W. Trail, Jr., and Suellen King, along with six great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, and one very special niece, Janet Pipkins of Crosby, TX. Funeral services will be held Saturday May 5, 2012 at 12 Noon at Seagle Funeral Home with The Rev. Charles Arnold and The Rev. George Sirt officiating. Interment will follow in Thornspring Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday morning at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until 12 Noon service time.
