I met Jo Ann when she and her mom & dad moved into MacGill Village in Pulaski. We went to Claremont elementary and then Pulaski High School. When kids we played with stuffed animals and went to the swing set but the messiest thing we did together was making “mud berry pies”. Our moms were not very happy about that as we had mud all over us. Maybe that’s where she got her love for baking. 🙂 We graduated from PHS together, along with Donald. He was a great guy and I’m glad they found each other. I moved away many years ago, but we would occasionally talk on the phone. It was always good to see her again at our class reunions. She was a very sweet friend and will be missed.
