Trail, Elois Fern Shelor

Elois Fern Shelor Trail, 85, of Willis, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, November 5, 2008. She was preceded in death by her son, Gerald Thomas “Tommy” Trail; parents, Ennis and Ora Harman Shelor; sister, Estellene Slusher; stepgrandson, Todd Longhi.

She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Virgil Thomas Trail Willis; daughters and son-in-law, Carol Trail Bishop and Bruno Longhi, of Christiansburg, Connie Trail Hollandsworth, of Willis; son and daughter-in-law, Barry and Bobbie Trail, of Willis; sister and brother-in-law, Avanelle and James Neal; grandchildren, Ann Bishop Durham and Dean, of Christiansburg, Kevin Bishop and Deann, of Christiansburg, Chad Hollandsworth , of Willis, Scott Hollandsworth and Jennifer, of Willis, Sharon Trail Huff and Todd, of Indian Valley, Michael Trail and Deana, of Check, Steven Trail, of Willis, Jessica Trail, of Willis; greatgrandchildren, Destiny Bishop, Joshua Huff, Devin Durham, Lacey Bishop, Natalie Huff, Grace Bishop, Nathan Trail, Jared Houseman; stepgranddaughter, Dawn Longhi, of Hartford, Conn., Whitney Lonhi, of Grandy, Conn; stepgreat-grandsons, Tyler and Brandon Longhi.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, November 8, 2008, at Maberry Funeral Home with Pastor Roy Turpin officiating. Interment to follow in Greasy Creek Cemetery. Family will receive friends 5 to 8 p.m. Friday November 7, 2008, at the funeral home. The family would like to express a special thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff at NRV Medical Center.
