Early Trail, 92, of 2420 Julia Simpkins Road, Hiwassee, passed away Saturday, September 15, 2007 at the Pulaski Community Hospital. Born December 26, 1914 in Roderfield, West Virginia, he was the son of the late William Robert Trail and Alice Bolt Trail. He was also preceded in death by one son, William Robert “Bobby” Trail, and a brother, Elbert Trail.

He was retired from Klopman Mills with 31 years of service. He served in the government C. C. Camps and was also a veteran of the United States Army having served during World War II.

Surviving is his wife of 56 years, Edith June Edwards Trail, Hiwassee; two daughters, Kathy Quesenberry and husband, Jackie Quesenberry, Hiwassee, Patty Trail, Hiwassee; son, Jimmy Trail and wife, Bobbie Jo Trail-China Grove, N.C.; two grandchildren, Jeremy Trail and John Trail, Hiwassee; daughter-in-law, Marie Trail-Hiwassee; and numerous other family members.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday 2 p.m. at Bower Funeral Chapel, Pulaski with the Rev Leslie Shelton officiating. Interment will follow at Trail Family Cemetery, Hiwassee with military honors conducted at the graveside by the Pulaski VFW Post # 1184.
