tourney-hall-betty-annBetty Ann Tourney-Hall went to join her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. Betty was born in Pulaski on December 10, 1928 to Roy Calvin Hall and Lois Albert Hall.

Her faith in the Lord was a driving force in her life. She was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church where she sang in the choir, was a member of the Women’s Bible Study Group and a devoted volunteer with the Daily Bread Program of the Church. Music was always a passion in her life, she majored in music while attending Radford University. Her biggest joy in life was sharing time with her family & friends. She was an energetic little lady with a happy smile & a warm personality that drew you in with her gentle, fun spirit and positive outlook on life.

She is survived by her loving husband, Dr. Glenn C. Hall Jr. of Radford, Va.; her daughters, Karen Moran of Draper, Va., Susan Hurst of Greensboro, N.C., Cindy Tourney of Christiansburg, Va.; and her son, George H. Seagle III; and daughter in law, Judi Seagle of Houston, Texas; her sisters, Sally Buchanan of Richmond, Va., Sara Ausbon of Greenville, N.C.; and a brother, Roy A. Hall of Ashville, N.C. Also survived by her stepdaughters, Sarah Palmer Hall of Claytor Lake, Va., Libbie Farias of North Carolina; and her stepson, Glenn Hall of Roanoke. Betty has three grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Jennifer Leigh Hurst and George H. Seagle IV.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, October 28, 2016 at New Dublin Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Andrew Taylor-Troutman officiating. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m. on Friday at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Daily Bread at First Presbyterian Church.
