Jackie Toney Jr., 48, of Christiansburg, Va., suddenly departed for his new Heavenly home on Wednesday, May 14, 2008.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Waldo and Strossie Toney and Glynis and Mildred Ames; and a brother, Blane Toney.

Jackie leaves to cherish his life, his wife, Donna Toney; his three children, James McVey, Jackie R. Toney and Sara Miller; his daughter-in-law, Alicia Toney; son-in-law, Michael Miller; his grandchildren, Michael, Charles, Jordan, Makayla and Leigha; his parents, Jackie and Sheryl Toney, and Anna Bowden; brothers, Terry Toney and David Alawine; sisters, Jennifer Beckett, Donna Smith and Shelia Hutchens; aunts, Kathy Price and Carolyn Taylor; and uncles, Ronnie, Freddie, Roger, Carol, Michael and Gary.

The family will receive friends from 5 until 8 p.m. Friday, May 16, 2008, at the Horne Funeral Home, Christiansburg, Va. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 17, 2008, in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel conducted by the Rev. Arthur Harris with interment to follow in West View Cemetery, Radford.
