Tolliver, Marshall B.

Marshall B. Tolliver, of Christiansburg, Va., passed on Wednesday, December 29, 2010. He was a member of Schaeffer Memorial Baptist Church, the local NAACP, and American Legion Post 59 having served in the United States Army.

Survivors include his nephew, James E. (Carolyn) Tolliver; nieces, Naomi Hickman and Janet Bullock; his Schaeffer family; Nathaniel and Sylvia Bishop and family; friends at the Christiansburg Seniors Program; and many new friends at Heritage Hall.

Funeral will be 2 p.m. Sunday, January 2, 2011, with visitation 1:30 p.m., at Schaeffer led by the Rev. Dr. Lee E. Suggs Sr. Burial will be in Schaeffer Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Schaeffer Memorial Baptist Church.
