Tiller, Sylvia Jean O’Dell

Sylvia Jean O’Dell Tiller, age 77 of Hiwassee passed away Thursday, September 14, 2017 at her home.

Born June 1, 1940 in Pulaski County she was the daughter of the late James Edgar O’Dell & Lula Mae Galbreath O’Dell. Her brothers, Oren O’Dell, Hubert O’Dell, sisters, Ruth O’Dell Foutz and Norma O’Dell Myers also preceded her in death. She was a member of the Bethel Primitive Baptist Church.

She is survived by her

Children – Karen Jeanette Webb – Hiwassee, Olen Keith Webb – Pulaski, Carles Kendall Tiller – Hiwassee, Marcy Tiller Ganoe – Pearisburg,

Grandchildren – Cara Brianne Ganoe, William Tanner Ganoe, Isaac Hunter Ganoe and Haley Faith Tiller,

Sisters – Alma O’Dell Hall – Snowville, Hazel O’Dell Kesling & husband, Duane – Newbern, Helen O’Dell Tolliver & husband, Garland – Shiloh,

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM – Sunday, September 17, 2017 at the Bethel Primitive Baptist Church with Elder Ronald Bowman officiating. Interment will follow at the Dishon Cemetery, Snowville.

The family will receive friends 5:00-7:00 PM – Saturday evening at the Bower Funeral Home-Chapel, Pulaski.
