Tickle, Jean Haislip

Jean Haislip Tickle, 81, of Fairlawn, died early Monday morning, March 9, 2015 in the Commonwealth Assisted Living Retirement Home, Fairlawn, VA. She was born on January 29, 1934 and was preceded in death by her husband, Charles B. Tickle, Jr.

She enjoyed playing bridge with her life-long friends, and while her health allowed, she loved to travel and spend time at the beach.

Surviving are son and daughter-in-law, Chuck and Gina Tickle, of Raleight, N.C.; grandchildren, Chase Ballard and Morgan Rebecca; brother-in-law, Phil and Helen Tickle, of Pulaski.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, March 13, 2015 from the Stevens Funeral Home Chapel.
