Troy Samuel Thornton, Jr. age 53, of 6035 Baptist Hollow Road, Hiwassee died Wednesday, November 7, 2007. Born February 27, 1954 in Pulaski he was the son of Ann Ruth Roop Thornton and the late Troy Samuel “Crow” Thornton, Sr. His grandparents and three uncles also preceded him in death. He was a carrier for the Southwest Times and had over 30 years of service with Pulaski Furniture Company.

A graveside funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday at the Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin with Curtis Stoots officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Sunday evening at the Bower Funeral Chapel, Pulaski. The family will also receive friends after the service Monday at the home, 6035 Baptist Hollow Road, Hiwassee. Flowers will be appreciated, or memorials may be sent to the family.
