Thornton, Angela Goodwin

Angela Goodwin Thornton, 52, of Christiansburg, went to be with the Lord on November 10, 2019. She was preceded in death by her father, Jack Goodwin; brother, Mickey Goodwin; and special mother-in-law, Ava Thornton.

Angela is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, Dwayne Thornton; son, David and wife Britni Thornton; grandchildren, Makayla and Jacob Thornton; her mother, Mary Goodwin; brother, Lynwood Goodwin; her beloved dog, Gypsie; as well as many special family and friends.

Angela graduated from Shawsville High School and worked at Falling Branch Elementary School for 10 years. She loved painting and her grandchildren more than life.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 12, 2019, from 6-8 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. Graveside Services will be held on Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at 2 p.m. in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
