Zachary Adam Thompson, 14, of Clendennin Rd., Narrows, died Tuesday, February 24, 2009, in an accident at his home. Born in Montgomery County on April 25, 1994, he was a son of Kevin Lee and Belinda Tate Thompson. “Zach” was a faithful member of Bethel Chapel Church in Clendennin where he was active in the church Teen Ministry. He was a student at Giles High School , a member of the Ninth Grade Class, a member of The Giles Symphonic Chorale and had been a member of the Drama Club, and he enjoyed woodworking with his Grandpa Bill. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Ralph E. Thompson. Zachary leaves to cherish his memory, his parents, Kevin and Belinda Thompson; his sisters, Lauren T. Thompson, Megan L. Thompson, and Riley F. Thompson, all of the home; his maternal grandparents, Bill and Darlene Booth Tate, of Narrows; his paternal grandmother, Carol Bradley Thompson, of Narrows; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 11 a.m., in the Kendall Funeral Home at 605 Snidow St. in Pembroke, with Senior Pastor Eddie Kendall and Youth Pastor Charlie Price, of Bethel Chapel officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery at Narrows. The family will receive friend at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday evening.
