Thompson, Wanda Williams

Wanda Gail Thompson, 57, of Christiansburg, went to be with the Lord Friday, December 29th, 2017 at her home. While she struggled with multiple illnesses the last decades of her life, she went to be with the Lord suddenly and peacefully, where she will experience no more hurt. Born in Giles, Virginia, on December 20th, 1960, she is the daughter of Nancy Carter Williams and the late Leroy Williams.

She was preceded in death by her father & sister Teresa Diane Linkous and her late husband Jerry Keith Thompson.

Gail Thompson had a loving heart as a mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, and friend that will be sadly missed. Her strong soul, witty sense of humor, and extraordinary and fierce personality, but fragile heart, made her unforgettable and will live within us, until we meet again.

Left to treasure her memory are her mother and best friend, Nancy; her daughter, April Renee Schack, her son and his wife, Jamie & Jessica Thompson; her brother and his wife, Jeff & Donnetta Williams and her grandson, Ryan Schack.

The Memorial Service will be conducted Thursday, January 4th from 5:00 p.m – 7:00 p.m at Kendall Funeral Home, 605 Snidow St. in Pembroke.
