Thompson, Trinkle Williams

Trinkle Williams Thompson, 88, of Riner, Va., passed away on Thursday, August 5, 2010. She was preceded in death by her spouse, Russell F. Thompson; and sister, Elizabeth W. Bishop.

Surviving are her daughters and sonsin-law, Wanda and James Gaither and Charlene and Allen Angel, both of Roanoke; grandchildren and spouses, Diane and Kenneth Broughman, of Hardy, Va., and Sean and Jan Phillips, of Pensacola, Fla.; greatgrandchildren, Derek Gibson, Andrew Broughman, Lauren Phillips, Bianca Phillips, and Savannah Phillips; and two special nieces, Susan Gilsdorf, of Richmond, and Penny Riquelmy, of Botetourt.

Funeral Service will be held 2 p.m. on Monday, August 9, 2010, at Maberry Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Roy Turpin and the Rev. James Burke officiating. Interment to follow in Jacksonville Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, August 8, 2010, at the funeral home.
