Thompson, Ruby Alley Lester

Ruby Alley Lester Thompson, 80, of Christiansburg, our loving mom, grandma, great-grandma, left July 5, 2008 to a great family reunion in Heaven with her son Jack, grandson, Daniel Lee, the father of her children and first husband, Luther (Red) Lester, second husband, Bill Thompson, mom, dad, and ten brothers and sisters.

Waiting to walk the golden streets with her are her children and their spouses, Elsie Seabrook, Ronnie and Betty Lester, Carolyn Altizer, Betty Radar, Jimmy and Judy Lester, Judy and Gary Roberts, Kitty and Bruce Harris. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and two loving companions, Rascal and Frosty.

The family will receive friends at The Horne Funeral Home, Sunday, July 6, 2008 from 4 to 6 p.m. The funeral service will be held in The Horne Funeral Home Chapel, Monday, July 7, 2008 at 1 p.m. with Pastor Wallace Yopp and Pastor Leon Alley officiating. Interment will follow in Huffville Cemetery, Floyd, County.
