Thompson, Nancy Williams

Nancy Williams Thompson, 82, of Radford, passed away on Tuesday, October 4, 2011. She was a member of First Baptist Church and retired bank teller. She was preceded in death by her parents, Daniel Earl and Nellie Anderson Williams; her husband, Kyle H. Thompson; a brother; and three sisters. Survivors include two daughters and son-in-law, Jackie and Gary Daner, and Lynn Thompson, all of Richmond; three grandchildren, Patrick Farmer, Holly Daner and Laura Daner; two brothers and sisters-in- law, Daniel E. and Elane Williams Jr. of South Orleans, Mass., and Harry K. and Barbara Williams, of Wilmington, N.C.; sister and brother-in-law, Peggy Williams and Bill Pryor, of Greenville, N.C.; and sister-in-law, Barbara Williams, of Orlando, Fla. Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, October 7, 2011, at the First Baptist Church in Radford with the Rev. Kent Taylor officiating. Interment will follow in the Sunrise Burial Park in Radford. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. on Thursday, October 6, 2011, at the funeral home.
