Thompson, Minnie Haga

Minnie Ellen Haga Lovern Thompson, age 82 of Dublin departed this life to be with the Lord, whom she loved with all her heart on Friday May 22, 2009, surrounded by her loving family.

Born December 22, 1926 in Dublin, she was the daughter of the late Conly and Ethel Haga.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two husbands, Scerial Lovern and Raymond Thompson; one son, John Lovern; two brothers, Hubert Haga and E.C. (Mutt) Haga; and one sister, Margaret Haga Hardy.

She was a faithful and loving member of the Newbern Church of God. She leaves behind, to cherish her memory- Two children- Roger and Marilyn Lovern-Richmond Bonnie and Chuck Godbey-Riner

Six Grandchildren- Veronica and George McCall, Paige Todd, Stephanie Perkins, Angelia and George Shope, John and Amanda Lovern and Missy Quesenberry.

Nine Great Grandchildren – Shane Todd, Meghan Perkins, Zackary Shope, Ethan Shope, John Lovern III, and Alexis Lovern and 3 Quesenberry children

Sister and Brother-in-law- Evelyn and Kenneth Pennington-Dublin

Numerous Nieces and Nephews

The funeral services will be held Monday 11:00 A.M. in the Bower Funeral Home Chapel with Rev Clayton Quesenberry officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory gardens, Dublin.
