Thompson, Julia Snider

Julia Ann Thompson, age 73, of Blacksburg died, Tuesday, May 12, 2020. She was born in Giles County, Va. on October 24, 1946 to the late Claude Alfred and Mary Neice Snider. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Leon Thompson, and a son, Jackie Rose, four brothers and a sister.

She is survived by her daughter, Shirley Ann Rose, son, James Rose, and son, Doodle Rose and wife, April King-Rose, six grandchildren, special grandchildren, Martin Rose and Maryann (Sissy) Rose, sisters, Margaret Mitchem, Rose Lang, numerous nieces and nephews, special companions, Dixie Rose, Lildude Rose, Sadie Mae Rose.

Services will be held privately. Arrangements by McCoy Funeral Home, Blacksburg.
