Jerry Wayne Thomas, 58, of Pulaski went to be with the Lord on Sunday, Sept. 30, 2007 while surrounded by his family in the Pulaski Community Hospital. He was born in Pulaski on June 4, 1949 and he was the son of the late Moyer Thomas and (Mommie) Lillie Helen Thomas. He was also preceded in death by several aunts and uncles.

He was a former employee of Volvo in Dublin.

Surviving are: his wife of 31 years, Joanie French Thomas, Pulaski; sons, Ronnie Thomas, Pulaski, Todd Thomas, Pulaski; daughters, Kim Edwards and spouse, Ricky Edwards, Pulaski, Amy Thomas and friend, John Frame, Pulaski, Angela Thomas and fianc?, Wayne Reed; sisters, Brenda Shelton and special brother-in-law, Johnny Shelton, Jr., Pulaski, Nancy Lucado and fiance, Roger Dale Hurst, Pulaski; grandchildren, Wesley, Kevin and Eric Wayne Nicholls, all of Georgia, Shane Edwards, Gary Cook, Jr., Ramsey, Kayla and Abby Thomas, Victoria and Darren Chrisley all of Pulaski; uncle, Conley Hill, Dublin; brothers-in-law, Sammy, Terry and Jerry French; mother-in-law, Hallie French; nieces, Melissa Shelton Jones and Lea Trivette; nephews, Johnny Shelton, III and Alan Semones, Jr.; special cousins, Donnie Hill, Roger, Donnie and Eddie Cressell and many other family and close friends.

Mr. Thomas will be cremated. A memorial service will be held Wednesday at 7 p.m. from Stevens Funeral Chapel with Rev. Leslie Shelton officiating. Visiting will be Wednesday from the funeral home where the family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until the service hour.
