Thomas, Emily Steger

Emily Sue Steger Thomas, 64, of Pulaski, VA, who was loved to the moon and back, went to be with the Lord on November 1, 2016. She was a true example of courage and strength.

Emily was born in Radford, VA on March 20, 1952 and was preceded in death by her mother Mary Sue Miles Steger, father William Denny Steger and by her brother Sid Steger. She was a retired employee of APCO.

Loving wife of 45 years to Jerry Thomas, Sr. She is his life and pride and joy.

Mother to Tobie Odell (Marty) and Jerry Thomas, Jr. (Shannon).

Mimi to Lyric Thomas, Kylie Dunford and Austin Thomas.

Sister to John and Bill Denny Steger.

Sister-In-Law and friend to Robin Steger, Karen Steger, Robin Thomas Friend and Billy.

It’s not “goodbye” – it’s “I’ll see you later”.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 5, 2016, at 11:00 AM from the Stevens Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Melissa Smith officiating.
