Steve & Janice and all the Akers family would like to thank… The Christiansburg Rescue and Police Dept. for their quick response and care for Leon. The Montgomery Regional Emergency staff for all of their efforts and concern. Horne Funeral Home for taking such good care of Leon and our family. The Ellett Valley Church Family for providing a meal for the family and helping sing Leon home and their prayers to help us through. Betty would like to personally thank Graci Matusvich and Barbara Blankenship for their help and support. Thank you to Frank & Connie for their help with the service. Thanks to all the host of friends and family, over 200, for your prayers, cards, phone calls, food, & flowers during the loss of our Brother, Companion, Uncle, and Friend. He is greatly missed by all of us.
