9/25/1925 ~ 6/29/2011 Meryl B. Terry, of Greensboro, N.C., died on Wednesday, June 29, 2011, at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home in WinstonSalem, N.C. She was born in Lindside, W.Va., to the late Carl Allen Broyles and Helen Bradley Broyles. She was a dedicated and loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She loved to cook, shop, travel and visit with family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel D. Terry, in 1988. Meryl is survived by her son and daughter, Steven and Becky Terry, of Leesburg, Va., Melissa and Ken Pharo, of Greensboro, N.C.; four grandchildren, Josh Terry, Jake, Jordan and Jenna Whitt; stepgranddaughter, Kendall Pharo; and a brother, Carl Broyles and his family, of Lindside, W.Va. A Graveside Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, July 5, 2011, at Sunset Cemetery in Christiansburg, Va. The Rev. Clarence Dishman will officiate. A luncheon for family and close friends will be held after the service at her favorite restaurant, The Farmhouse in Christiansburg. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kate B.
