Taylor, Verne Skeete

Vern Skeet Taylor, 100, formerly of Radford, Va., passed away on Wednesday, February 4, 2009, in a Jacksonville, Fla., nursing home. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Jon T. and Shirley I. Taylor; and a son William S. Taylor. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. on Saturday, February 7, 2009, at Grove United Methodist Church. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Karen Lane officiating. Interment will be in Highland Memory Gardens. Arrangements by DeVilbiss Funeral Home, Radford, Va.
