Taylor, Nannie Ruth

Nannie Ruth Taylor, 79, of Christiansburg, passed away Monday, June 11, 2007.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Merdie and Vernie Mannon; her son, James Preston Taylor; a brother, Robert Mannon.

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 57 years, Allen C. Taylor of Christiansburg; sons and daughter-in-law, Junior and Joyce Taylor of North Carolina; and Charles E. Taylor of Christiansburg; grandchildren, Rex Allen Taylor, Jody Taylor, Allen Wayne Taylor and Kimberley Taylor; sisters-in-law, Nellie Wood of Christiansburg and Edna Gearhart of Pilot; many nieces, nephews, cousins, an aunt and daughter-in-law, Nellie Taylor.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Horne Funeral Service. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at the Trinity United Methodist Church with Pastor Stan Thompson officiating. Interment will follow in North Fork Cemetery.
