Taylor, Donna L.

Donna L. Taylor, 53, of Christiansburg, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 23, 2013. She was preceded in death by her father, Millard Taylor.

She is survived by her mother, Jane Taylor; sisters, Pat and Ron Nolen, Shirley Groseclose, Karen and John McCoy, and Mary Taylor and Gary Brewer; nieces and nephews, Kastina and Alan Rowell, Jessica and Dallas Malone, Barrett and Katie Nolen, Kayla Groseclose, and Kelsie Groseclose; as well as two great-nieces; and one great-nephew.

Donna was employed at Virginia Tech Financial Aid Department for 27 years, and was a lifelong member of Belmont Christian Church.

The family would like to send a special thanks to Dr. Harry McCoy, and the nurses on the second floor at Lewis Gale-Montgomery.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 25, 2013, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, May 26, 2013, at Belmont Christian Church with Ministers Jim Bayne, Beaver Terry, and Jerry Dowdy officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg.
